Know-It-Now Guides
Are reference guides which provide concise information through generic procedures for popular software applications.  Please consult our list of available courses. These guides are similar to the guides we provide in our training classes, but they do not include a student data disk or exercises.

Concise Information
By limiting the information to the targeted skills for a particular level or module, the guides consist of approximately 30-50 pages of concentrated information.

Generic Procedures
Our procedures are data-independent, and written in a generic style.  We assume that you are going to be using your own data when following the procedures.

Easy to Find Information
We use the latest research findings on how people find and store information to develop the reference guides.  They are written using many of the principles of Information Mapping®.  These include:

• Clearly labeling each topic and procedure to promote easy scanning.  Using a uniform layout so that people know where to look on the page for what they need.
• “Chunking” information into related topics of manageable size.
• Using tables to allow easy comparison and contrast between choices.
• Placing graphics on the page, exactly where they are needed, to promote easy identification and comprehension.
